Kyanite Coral Wire Earrings
Large, deep blue, faceted Kyanite rondells (4-5mm) are individually wire wrapped around 18 gauge handmade sterling silver wire that has been hammered into shape. Clusters of natural, un-dyed coral (8-12mm) give it that whimsical touch.
Most of the coral you see for sale is dyed so you can imagine how rare and expensive these natural corals are.
These earrings measure just a bit shy of 3 Inches long.
Gemstones:
Coral has been used to ward off evil spirits, soothe fears and tension. Helps aid difficulties of the lungs and digestion tract. Coral has been used as jewelry since prehistoric times. It has been found in Celtic tombs, and was a symbol of wealth in China during the Qing dynasty. Tibetan lamas still use coral rosaries, as coral is one of the seven treasures in Buddhist scriptures.
Kyanite: Derived from Greek word kyanos, which means 'blue'. Prominently, kyanite is found in shades of blues & greens. Kyanite enhances psychic imagery, foresight, consciousness, and communication. Kyanite is also said to bring calm and tranquility, and to facilitate meditation. It is a powerful stone to access the Universal Energy during healing.
