Green Amethyst Kyanite Boro Necklace

This is an absolutely gorgeous Boro bead (17mm x 19mm) made by an amazing artist. The detail and workmanship that has gone into this bead is unbelievable. This picture just does not do this artists work justice.

Sparkling, large faceted Green Amethyst briolette (18mm) are threaded on fine sterling silver wire and suspend from tumbling cascades of AAA quality, faceted Kyanite rondels.

These sway beneath ornate sterling silver beads, large faceted Green Amethyst rondels (9mm), and gorgeous Iolite rondels.

This necklace can be worn 16 to 17 1/2 inches long. Extension with a large dandling pearl (11mm).

Green Amethyst: Green Amethyst: In ancient times, the Greeks used to think that amethyst would protect those who wore it from becoming drunk. The name Amethyst is derived from the Greek amethystos which when translated is “not drunken”. Amethyst has also been used to encourage celibacy, erase evil thoughts and keep one grounded.

Kyanite: Derived from Greek word kyanos, which means 'blue'. Prominently, kyanite is found in shades of blues & greens. Kyanite enhances psychic imagery, foresight, consciousness, and communication. Iolite: Known as the Vikings' compass, due to it's ability to determine the direction of the sun on overcast days. When the legendary Viking mariners sailed the wide ocean, they used thin pieces of iolite as the world's first polarizing filter. Looking through an iolite lens, they could determine the exact position of the sun, and navigate safely.
